The sky-rocketing economy,
The booming stock markets,
The number of Indian Millionaires,
The flourishing Industry,
The Tatas, Mahindras and Infosys,
The SRK's, Big B's , Mallya's ..................etc
But, what about the umpteen number of conundrums and issues faced by the nation as a whole?
Inflation, Price rise, Corrupt politicians, incapacitated Judicial system, Farmer suicides, Terrorist attacks, law and order issues........the list keep going.
These are mostly overlooked or downplayed by the government and the media to retain a feel good atmosphere.
The common man would turn a blind eye towards these problems, until its effects starts to hurt him or his near and dear ones. He is comfortable in his own little cocoon and wouldn't want to involve in anything which upsets the peace within it.
The irresponsible and detached attitude of the citizen is the root cause of majority of the problems face by the nation. Everybody expects the government to find solutions and change situations, but, they are unwilling to participate. This state of the nation is exploited by the politicians and the bureaucracy for their own gains. It is regretful that even the Media, whose duty is to provide unbiased and clear information to the common man plays a part in this charade.
The PrimaryCitizen intends to provide an unbiased view of the current state of our nation, and put forth the frustration and helplessness of the common man. We welcome like minded individuals to share their thoughts and contribute to the content.

"The Primary Citizen is born" the title of the post is quite attractive. The post is quite true and real. India will always be a developing country as long as the so-called anti-social elements like corruption, terrorism, caste feelings, etc keep dominating although there are +ve points which you mentioned. The word Corruption has taken most of our Country's growth into it,I mean it has subdued the growth of India. We have so many millionaires but they are busy fighting with their siblings or busy building their business or busy building world's tallest/largest houses. These millionaire's can re-create India in the world map as the most developed country if they realize what they are doing.
Talent should be given due credit and should be recognized in every field irrespective of their caste/creed.
One should come out of his cocoon or vicious circle and do his part to make India free from all this anti-social elements.Every individual should know his responsibility and try to work accordingly and should start fighting against these anti-social elements.
